Calle Grajera 7 50360 Daroca /Zaragoza (Aragon|Spain)
Behind a stone and masonry facade is the old palace of the Pelayo family. Located in the center of the village and restored with the utmost fidelity to the original colors, it blends perfectly into its urban setting. A broad stairway with baked clay steps and a singular frieze in Muslim plasterwork leads to the bedrooms, which are arranged on the two upper floors. Decorated in a simple and rustic manner, the lower floor rooms exhibit yellow tones, and the upper ones are in blue tones. Some of the furniture is restored and the rest is imitation furniture painted matching the tones of the curtains. What stands out the most at the reception is the pebble and brick flooring, which is original and well preserved, in the shape of the Corporales, famous historical remains from the village known by the singular miracle of the six bloody hosts. Next door is the renaissance patio with a column in the middle and also with pebble and brick flooring, this time in the shape of the Lower Gate of the city. The meeting room is one of the best areas in the house, dedicated to music in honor to the International Course in Ancient Music celebrated each year in the city.

Five of them have terraces, some of them very large, ideal in the summer and looking over the garden. Two others are duplexes, numbers 22 and 23, with impeccable varnished wood staircases which also offer wonderful views of the buildings scattered around the city. Number 22 overlooks the Greater Castle, the Romanic church of San Miguel and the Santo Domingo Tower. Number 23 also looks out upon this tower, the city walls and the Santa Cruz mountains.
