Description

Within its 17th-century baroque stone and brick shell where Benedictine monks once dwelled, a new Husa was born in 2003. Sited right in the city center, the hotel’s bedrooms have moved beyond those days of rustic and rough materials: today, pristine red and black striped walls in the bedchambers, for example, may recall San Iñigo, a Benedictine monk of the Oña and patron saint of Calatayud. More history: the ruins of a 13th-century proto-gothic church have been exposed in the main hall of the monastery.
