Before Hotel Diego landed in the captial of Turia, the hotel chain Room Mate in the spring of 2006 opened their first hotel in Valencia. As a hostelry spin off inspired by the upcoming American Sailing Cup, Hotel Marina lives in the port, next to the Reales Atarazanas Museum and facing Malvarrosa Beach. Valencia takes off. Like all the company´s establishments, Marina has its own vital spìrit, that which is truly oceanographic and of unstoppable navigation. Concrete, glass, ebony, black and marble along its geometric façade. Simple and direct architecture encloses a sophisticated interior design. Chrome aesthetic with shinny and metallic features in the entrance and cafeteria. Minimalist bedrooms with sublte tones and a few touches of bright red. And on the eighth and top floor, a sauna and exterior jacuzzi, with views of the sea and city.
