Opened in 2004, this establishment carries in with the company’s keenness for the mimesis of past developments, in this case barrowing in large part from the big brother in Alicante, Amerigo. Here in Valencia, in the nice zone, the commercial and business area, Palau de la Mar occupies a late 19th century palatial building to unfold its particular catalog of pristine simplicity and elegance, which may come across as insipid given the possibilities. The smooth forms and textures, precise furnishings and cream tones with lots of black accents, make the minimalist soberness a mismatch to the building’s personality. The establishment suffers from lack of more staff and superior high-tech amenities in accord with its vocation.
