Calle Cal 3 25539 Garòs/Valle de Arán /Lleida (Catalonia|Spain)
Just five kilometers from the snow toped ski slops of Baqueira-Beret, right in the heart of the Arán Valley stands this little family-style inn with a peaceful ambiance. The author and owner Alicia Milló i Portolà has personally elected the fabrics and other decorative details that outfit the bedrooms. Her good work has turned this old country home, sited next to the Romanic church of Garòs, into a dignified inn that leaves nothing to desire of four-star hotel. The interior decoration corresponds in essence to the best of what the region withholds: stonewalls, wooden roofs and beams, noble materials. The bedrooms, sited on two floors, look out to the surrounding countryside and mountains. An elegant breakfast room has large windows that invite guests to greet the morning sun, while the best spot to contemplate the stars is in the porched-in patio at the entrance.

The want of more common areas for relaxing and strolling.
All are cute and tastefully decorated by the owner Alicia Milló. However rooms 3 and 4 are more spacious and comfortable than the rest.

The inn only offers breakfasts. For lunch and dinner in town: Restaurant El Restille in the Plaza de la Carretera, 2 (Tel. 973 64 15 39). An enjoyable place serving authentic regional specialties from the Arán Valley. The Catalonian Cream is highly recommendable. Menu: between 21 and 30 euros.

The Baqueira-Beret winter ski slopes.
Garòs Ostau is a little inn sited on a rehabilitated family property in the town of Garós, just 6 kilometers from Baqueira-Beret. The country house is located on a narrow street right next to the town church. At the entrance, the stonewall behind the private patio and porch features different antique tools and utensils used by my family.
The inn enjoys remarkable surroundings and serenity in this special location. I have aimed to create a small charming establishment that offers a cozy atmosphere and a personalized attention.
The inn has 8 rooms, 2 of which are loft rooms that may be used as a triple. There is a living room where breakfasts are served by a fireplace with the typical characteristics of the Arán Valley.
