Calle La Hoya 20 38840 Vallehermoso /La Gomera (Canary Islands|Spain)
A picturesque small hotel 190 meters above the sea exhibiting both rural and ecological sensibility. Very close to the historical center of Vallehermoso, the biggest town in La Gomera, is the mountain of Tamahuche, into which slopes this old estate digs its foundations. The building dates back to the late 19th century and was renamed for the occasion in 2003. New times clamored for considerable energy savings by means of the greywater purification system for irrigation and the use of solar energy. The interiors are less innovative, more respectful of a tradition that demands its own rustic value in the irregular stone walls, the mud and the wood. Materials that guarantee quality in the 10 double bedrooms and in the facilities, such as the dining room, the patios, the terraces and the solarium. All this seasoned by the local nature decorating the Canary island landscape.
