Description

The interior spaces are enclosed with wood, indirect lighting and draperies that create a homey atmosphere, where the less enthusiastic skiers can let the hours pass, watching the snowflakes fall outside the windows. The building is comprised of two structures that are connected by a small spa and pool in between, and situated above the reception area. All rooms are conditioned to resist the cold of winter. Those situated in the original building, although devoid of luxuries, are very comfortable. In the new building, the four stars rooms are inviting and very pleasurable. With finishing that today are hard to find in the national hotel industry.

Lovers of a job well done, Fidel Tejero and his family offer plenty of examples of excellent hospitality, giving his guests the most attentive service. There are, for example, three vans available at all times to take the guests to the slopes and return them to the warmth of their rooms. After a day in the snow, a succulent dinner will warm the soul of the blissful guest, whose muscles would have already been revived by the masseuse’s expert hands in the spa.

ROOMS WE RECOMMEND:

The Torreón Suite in the tower is the coziest place in the hotel. Structured as a duplex, the sitting room below and bedchamber above. An impressive slopped ceiling with wooden rafters, reminiscent of the English Tyrolese church towers. Warm and exquisite interior decoration shows the good taste achieved through Fidel Tejero´s concentrated dedication in the development and maintenance of this establishment.

Hotel recommendations

Hotel Villa de Sallent **** / *** is characterized for its elegance, technology and infrastructure, hosting people from around the world. Their 100% satisfaction guaranteed philosophy ensures an answer to all your needs.

Stone, Slate and Wood
41 four-star rooms and 41 three-star rooms, with careful decoration and service to create a comfortable and intimate ambiance. Through large windows, the rooms evoke the grandeur of the Pyrenees peaks. Here, no detail is overlooked: quality furniture, indirect illumination and an inviting atmosphere help reinforce the sensation of intimacy. Just to witness the sunrise over the snowcapped mountains, it is worth staying up all night.

Fidel Tejero in the kitchen
This restaurant with exposed Belgian brick hosts great celebrations without unnecessary hype. To contrary, the variety of ornamental tones and delicacies create a discrete ambiance that enables the guests to dine at ease. There are no worthwhile luxuries other than Fidel Tejero´s kitchen creations.

Special menus for conventions and celebrations. The dinning room seats 250 people.

.- Salted cod loin with tomato and peppers

Meat:

Activities
Beside the winter ski slops at Formigal and Panticosa, the Tena Valley is filled with little towns with a traditional essence, mirrors of the past, recognizable through the mountain fog with their charming slate rooftops: Tramacastilla, Panticosa, Lanuza and Sallent de Gállego, among others. In summertime, the geography attracts hikers, mountain bikers, rock climbers who descend into nearby ravines such as Gorgol. At the Lanuza reservoir the world music festival, South Pyrenees, is celebrated in July. The hotels proximity to the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido, the Panticosa spa, San Juan de la Peña Monastery and Lourdes offers a wide array of recreational possibilities.
