Plaza del Obispo 1 20280 Hondarribia/Fuenterrabía /Guipúzcoa (Basque Country|Spain)
Gothic structure built in the 14th and 15th centuries, sited in one of the oldest streets of Hondarribia. The name of the hotel pays tribute to Cristóbal de Rojas y Sandoval, an ecclesiastical eminence that was born between these walls five centuries ago. Without forgetting the splendor of those times, the present-day owner, Víctor Alza, has outfitted welcoming and well-equipped bedrooms for his guests. These have a rustic style that upholds the building´s regal and elegant poise of old, which can be appreciated in the stone work, ceiling beams, wood chairs, archways, chestnut doors, harmonious tones and integrated modern furniture. Either with sloped ceilings or individual terraces, all the bedrooms display a rigorous decor, creating welcoming spaces that receive the soft light of Cantabria. To enjoy the surrounding nature, there is a little terrace with merlons and spectacular views.
