Description

A banana plantation, with lush vegetation and gullies filled with palm trees, located less than 15 kilometers from Las Palmas de Gran Canarias. There are for buildings on the estate, two of which are dedicated to the banana production and a third is for parking. The main house, a fitted stone wall structure built in the 18th century, encloses a variety bedrooms oriented either towards the sea or the palm trees. Suites on the top floor have semi-circular baths lined with wood and faux antique faucets. Special pampering in this relaxing retreat is offered by the Marquises of Arucas, who are owners of the estate and have been running the hotel since 1999. Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, an original swimming pool, massage room and sauna under a skylight await those guests who are enthusiastic about healthy living. Nourishment is prepared at El Alpende restaurant in the very place where cattle were once feed, and the most flavorful formulas of the Canarian recipes are served in the patio.
