Sited before the hanging houses of Cuenca, the Dominican Convent of San Pablo was built in the 16th century by Juan del Pozo Pino, who’s signature is found throughout the building. After is redecoration in 2004 by a team of interior designers lead by Anne Ward, the common areas are more refined and the bedrooms better equipped. Stunning views seen from the bedroom windows overlook the cloister and the city. The late-gothic church and monastery are used as a concert hall during the Week of Religious Music in Cuenca.
