This 17th-century Sevillian-style encloses color and luminosity like only Andalucia knows. In a charming blend of imagery from Andalusia and Latin American, two cultures destined to fusion, Casa de los Azulejos reveals a truly singular colonial style. Elements conserved from the original construction include the subterranean rooms with vaulted ceilings, glass doors, banister of the main staircase and the cast dome on the first floor. The phenomenal work in the principal patio covered with ceramic tiles from the Mensaque de Sevilla factory, is further enlivened with flowers and plants. Latin influences nourish the body at La Guadalupana Cantina, accompanied by the rhythms of Mexican country music.
