Casualty or destiny? Searching for their Elysium, this couple happened upon this hostelry endeavor sited along the winding roads of Vejer de la Frontera. Fortune brought them together in their displeasing British homelands, and there was nothing to keep them from embarking on an adventure to North Africa, with surprises all the way to soulful Morocco. Upon their return, convinced of the virtues this trip of a lifetime, they made one last improvised stop where they found just what they were looking for: Cádiz. Glen Murphy and Colette Bardel, parked their nomadic ways on a cobblestone street in the center of town and commenced the rehabilitation of a forgotten house. Without loosing sight of the African horizon in the distance, they reinforced the interiors with Moroccan aromas, in the style of riads and with the concept of the patio as the generator of life. The intact physiognomy gave way to the discovery of primitive elements such as vaulted niches and arches with wooden lintels, and together with all their British humor and composure, they have filled this house with colorful expressions in every corner: tiny red blinds, indigo in the upholstery and the sponge painted walls, brilliant solutions in the disposition of the bathrooms… Here, informality is not without elegance; and to enter each of the five rooms is to experience taste, touch, sight, hearing and smell.
