Palatial sumptuousness in this mansion on the outskirts of Berlin, in the residential area of Grunewald, decorated by the same team of restorers that worked on the historical Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam, which faithfully recreated the home of the von Pannwitz family --Walter von Pannwitz was the right-hand man of Kaiser William- from 1914, and Karl Lagarfeld has placed his unmistakable signature on the interior design. Period ostentation in the luxurious halls and French finesse in the baroque restaurant Vivaldi or in the glazed breakfast hall Le Jardin. Weather permitting, the lawn turns into the best place to taste the first refreshment, as well as lunch or any cocktails. An idyllic scene around a dream bandstand. Winter demands settling in front of the chimney in one of the armchairs in Le Tire Bouchon, the English-style bar.
