Description

A 19th century palace houses this hotel located in the heart of Barcelona, right next to the Catalonia Plaza and the famous street, Las Ramblas. In the past it was the location of the Royal Artists Circle of Barcelona, and for a time was the office for two newspapers no longer in print: Las Noticias and El Correo Catalán. Now entirely renovated, the hotel combines classic and modern styles, together with technological equipment that will satisfy guests on business. Latex mattresses, interactive televisions, RDSI Internet connection are found in these sober and harmonious rooms that have ample and luxurious bathrooms clad in marble and complete with hydro message bathtubs. The hotel’s common areas have a ball with the palatial origins of the building: marble floors and walls, handcrafted ceilings, crystal lamps, mirrors, modern furniture with airs of minimalism and impressive carved wooden doorways with glass panes in the conference room. Spacious and stately. The solarium offers magnificent panoramic views of the city.

The decoration of the rooms is a bit serious with sober ornamentation.
