Description

Located in Barcelona´s new business zone and close to the overlooked Fórum, stands the cubic entryway leading to an annexed edifice, the principal building of the hotel. It is tall and slender, a partition in front of the sea. Priceless views from some rooms and the swimming pool of this towering structure, which is practically in the water, like a ship anchored in the Mediterranean. This hotel offers cutting-edge facilities for business travelers: any of sitting rooms can be transformed into a company center of operations; and there is a total of 13 conference rooms, plus more when they have direct access to the new International Convention Center of Barcelona. Here the defining style if the hotel chain turns into brilliant visual scenery by morning: spaciousness; refined materials; dichromatic shine, black and white are a must; niches with explosive greens and reds; fractured spaces; installations equivalent to a superior four star; and a luxury spa, ideal after all those meetings wearing ties. A bar and two restaurants -Día&Nit provides a diverse menu around the clock in a chic setting-. complete the repertoire of this establishment of urban cleansing.

Our Critic review

EATING:

Día&Nit, the hotel’s select restaurant, each month presents their Thematic Gastronomy Series, consisting in a five course menu featuring local goods. From February to November the Mediterranean cuisine is based on leeks, asparagus, cherries, mushrooms, lettuces and chestnuts. This is the proposal for 2006.
