Description

The summits of this region represent a peerless image of what the backwaters at the feet of the Gredos are about. The romantic sight of these mountains is powerful attraction for weekend excursions. Or better still, for the dolce far niente of homespun vacations in winter or summer, catered to by the friendly service at the house. The ambiance attained here comes into its own with love by the fireside. Faithful to the basics of rustic ornamentation, the bedrooms are not without framed pictures of vegetable motifs, bulrush mats, forged iron bedposts, furniture of imperial interpretation and little lamps all around. In the less cold seasons (which isn’t to say hot, seeing the word doesn’t exist in lands of Avila) guests may enjoy sweeping views of the mountains from the terrace.
