Partida Paratella 44 03720 Benissa /Alicante (Valencia|Spain)
Surrounded by vineyards, carob and olive trees on a former farm or masía, this hotel opened in 1998. Its rustic essence lives on in the beams and rafters, stonewalls and ceramic-tile floors. Bedrooms, suites and bungalows are distributed throughout a cluster of small Mediterranean-style houses that reveal a play of light and color in an effort to squeeze out every last drop of the summer sun. The swimming pool is concealed in the lawns behind the house and it defends a slightly minimalist treatment. While waiting for the enterprise to gain experience and rigor, guests content with the terraces tucked all around the estate. A recent renewal of installations has incorporated a spa, sauna and gym.

The rooms in the main house need a little polishing and effective soundproofing. The mid-week ambiance is a little dull.
Without a doubt, the bungalows are much more desirable than the rooms in the main house, offering greater intimacy, space and easy access.

The restaurant at the hotel, with simple Mediterranean fare at promising prices.
Between the sky and the sea.
There are really very few people who discover the true magic of the Mediterranean each year.
This is partly due to the fact that the Hotel Cases de Sant Jaume only has 26 rooms, among other reasons.
Perhaps the central reason is that a subtle and intelligent sensibility is required to enjoy certain sensations, which has to do with another way of understanding life. Here, sophisticated pleasures are achieved from basic elements, such as gastronomy and contact con nature, the siesta and the sun…
We are talking about being swept away by the emotion of the flavors at the restaurant frequented by those who seek to savor this astute harmony between exquisite traditional Mediterranean cuisine and gastronomic proposals by gourmet chefs.
It is about having the sea at hands reach, surrounded by the fragrants of rosemary, thyme and mint. To be so close to the sea and far from interesting places of leisure, culture and diversion. The waters of the charming beaches and coves may be enjoyed, to return thereafter to the serenity and comfort of the hotel.
This is what happens each day at the hotel Cases de Sant Jaume, a rehabilitated and amplified farm, or masía, which sits among vineyards, carob and olive trees in a spot between Benissa and Teulada, Alicante, between the sky and the sea.
